Laconia Development, LLC hired Dern Architecture + Development to the team as the Architect of Record, Construction Management and assist with Tenant Lease-Ups in May 2017. We brought an on site presence for problem solving as we worked with Brown Construction toward the project completion and getting the apartment units to market. With our direct relationship with the City of Walnut Creek, Dern Architecture + Development became a reliable resource again during construction coordination for our client.
Lyric by the numbers is a mixed-use building with 35,000 square feet of shopping and dining at street level and luxurious apartment living above. 141-units for rent apartments.

The project opened successfully on September 1, 2017. As of April 2018, the building is now 88% occupied.
We achieved the Certificate of Occupancy on April 5, 2018.
