We are an architecture-led design + build firm that offers a complete solution of architectural design and construction management. Based in Los Gatos, California our Clients and Projects are in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento Metro, and in the San Diego Area. We are currently seeking a Job Captain and College Graduate Candidates. We are actively growing the architecture firm and have new projects in the pipeline ranging from Hospitality, Custom Residential, and Commercial work involving Office Workplaces and Restaurants to Mixed-Use.

Candidates should possess the following skills:

• Experience with Type I, Type II, and Type V construction, concrete podium, steel and wood framing, and some combination of the following: multi-family residential, commercial / mixed-use, retail, and restaurant projects

• Experience with Type V construction for our custom residential project types

• Proficiency with Revit, Microsoft Office & Outlook and familiarity with SketchUp, Photoshop, and other industry software applications are desirable

• Basic understanding of materials and methods of construction

• Excellent graphic and design capabilities exhibited through resume & portfolio example projects

• Comprehends design concepts in both verbal and graphic communications

• Capable of composing and extending design elements in presentation format

• Good understanding of the California Building Code (2022) and zoning codes particular to the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento Metro as well as the San Diego Area

• Ability and understanding of working with Zero Net Energy (ZNE) and Sustainable Project Types.

• Ability to compose design details into Construction Documents (preferred)

 

Candidate responsibilities include:

• Work under the collaborative direction of the Principal to develop design concepts that respond to Firm and Client objectives

• Development and preparation of Construction Documents for commercial / mixed-use, retail, multi-family residential projects along with related site planning

• Selection of building materials and color palette presentation boards

• Prepare 3-D models of proposed designs utilizing presentation modeling within Revit and Twin Motion

 

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent related design degree and be on track for licensure as an Architect in the State of California.

Internships are available to those pursuing a degree in Architecture at the University Level.
